Nollywood Actress, Ibinabo Febrisima Granted Bail

Nollywood actress, Ibinabo Febrisima, has been granted bail by the Court of Appeal. .

The actress was recently slammed a 5-year jail term by the Court of Appeal in Lagos after losing an appeal over the death of one Dr Giwa Suraj who she allegedly killed in an auto accident along Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos, 10 years ago.

Justice Jamilu Yammama Tukur of the Appeal court said he was granting the actress bail pending the determination of a suit filed by her at the Supreme court.

According to several sources, the Appeal Court, sitting in Lagos, said it was granting the actress bail pending the determination of an appeal filed by her at the Supreme court. According to reports,

Ibinabo Fiberesima was granted a bail of 2 million naira but with strong condition and she is expected to present two sureties of like sum residing within the jurisdiction of the court. The sureties must both be property owners in Lagos state.

CELEBRATING A GOLDEN KING @ 50 - HRH EZE EJIKE WALI JP

His Royal Highness, Eze Princewill Ejikeme Wali JP. Eze Oha Okporo 1 of Okporo Clan, Paramount Ruler/Nye-Weli Mgbuesilaru Community yesterday 25th of March, 2016 celebrated his Golden Jubilee Birthday.

The Eze who was born on the 23rd of March, 1966 clocked the ‘GOLDEN AGE’ on the 23rd of March, 2016.

The occasion which coincided with the Easter season started with a Church Service at the Abundant Life Evangel Mission (ALEM) where the Eze worships.

The Church Service featured special Choir Ministrations, songs from artists notable amongst them was Sister Kasha who testified how the General Overseer of the church assisted her family.

The General Overseer Apostle Eugene Ogu afterwards mounted the pulpit to minister the pure Word of God which was centered on the resurrection of Christ. It was indeed a wonderful sermon as Newest Rivers Reporters also got blessed.

The Eze and his family accompanied with other traditional rulers, friends and well-wishers proceeded for the thanksgiving.

In his speech, the Eze specially thanked God for making him clock 50 years. He told the congregation how his grandfather, father and elder brother never got to the age of 50 years. He said God who has made it possible for him to get to the age his fathers never got to, will still make it possible for him to live longer.

This is indeed to show that God and the land are truly with Eze Ejike Wali.

The Eze used the opportunity to thank the General Overseer of ALEM for always being there for him. He also thanked the former Governor of Rivers State Chibuike Amaechi for finding him worthy and elevated him to a second class chief and also thanked the current Governor of River State, His Excellency Chief Barr Nyesom Ezenwo Wike who has promised to work with all of them.

A special prayer was offered to the Eze and his family, by the General Overseer and the church; praying that God will grant the Eze Long Life, good health and protection.

After the Church Service, the occasion continued at the reception venue which held at the Palace of the Eze.

It was a wonderful celebration as the rain could not stop dignitaries from all walks of life who graced the occasion.

The Reception featured cutting of the Golden Jubilee Birthday Cake, cutting of the traditional birthday cake, popping of Champagne by the Eze, Dances and Rice and Stew Very plenty.
