The Holy book recorded that after Judas betrayed his Master which led to the death of Jesus Christ, Judas felt remorse, pained, sought for reconciliation in his own way and eventually returned the money he was bribed with.
Unlike the biblical Judas, Rotimi Amaechi who has been dubbed the Judas of Rivers State has refused to borrow a leaf from his Jewish counterpart. The self acclaimed Lion of Ubima that was humbled many times for his anti South South activities has instead sworn to destroy the soul of Rivers State just because his crony Dr. Dakuku Peterside is not his successor.
The selfish role played by Rotimi Amaechi against the interest of the Niger Delta, Rivers State in particular and former President Jonathan is still fresh in our memories. It was nothing but a grand betrayal. Amaechi is alleged to have used billions of Naira coming from the Niger Delta to fight a Niger Deltan. Rivers treasury was a major source of income for the APC 2015 Presidential campaign. No wonder the State was thrown into huge debt all because of Amaechi and his fellow selfish APC politicians.
GEJ conceded defeat and Judas rejoiced but contrary to his plans, our performing Governor Nyesom Wike emerged victorious and the victory was confirmed by the nation's Supreme Court. When the Court nullified the state Assembly and federal legislative houses election, our Judas rejoiced and re strategised.
Again, as the biblical Judas who came with a large number of fully armed soldiers.
Amaechi is reported to come to Rivers State for the re run elections with over five thousand soldiers and police men. His plan of course was to use the armed forces and the police to rig the elections and rob the people of their mandate. The Rivers State APC and Amaechi publicly aided rigging and many electoral malpractices. Ameachi shielded and provided cover for corrupt INEC officials, the Mrs. Ekwe story, who was arrested for electoral fraud by men of the Nigerian Police without a face cup but ended up putting on the Rivers APC Chairman's face cap is no longer news. This, the APC and Amaechi did to shield her from public view and from facing the wrath of the law.
Interestingly, Amaech's first plan did not go through as the PDP won almost in all the result already declared by INEC. What is now his next option?
The grand plan is that Amaechi has made everything humanly possible; using all federal might avenue to make sure that INEC did not announce the Ikwerre Local Government Area results, which is the Local Government of the Transportation minister, Rotimi Amaechi.
Reason being that, he can’t stand the shame of losing in his own Local Government Area after boosting of being on ground and coming for the election with battalion of soldiers. He is now consulting with INEC to see how they can announce the results in APC favour or cancel the results with reasons best known to them.
This, he has achieved to an extent, which is why Ikwerre Local Government Area results was not part of the results released recently by INEC. Even when the Local Government was one of the Local Government Areas that has finished collation of results and candidates (PDP Candidates) declared winners by the Returning Officer before the suspension news came.
It is still the same Local Government Area, where an APC candidate to the House of Assembly by name Azubuike Wonjoku came to demand the bribe money he gave to an INEC official; which the video is on circulation for weeks now. But up till now, INEC has not started any investigation or release a statement on that and the Nigeria Police is silent on it, all because he is an APC member.
Why do Amaechi and INEC want to cause crisis and destroy Rivers State?
Why do INEC want to change or Cancel Ikwerre LGA results?
What is the interest of INEC in Rivers State?
Is Amaechi now the Chairman of INEC?
Is INEC still independent?
Does this INEC Chairman have integrity?
So many questions for INEC and Amaechi to answer!
INEC and Amaechi we will stand against any move to subvert the will of Rivers people.
INEC please allow Rivers State to be and announce the results already collated and declared.
Rivers State is made up of PDP, APC, LP, APGA, SDP, etc political parties; allow the state to move forward for the benefit of all!
Amaechi it must not be you, because you are not GOD!
INEC show your integrity!
Release IKWERRE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA Re run election results as already been collated and declared according to the electoral act with the PEOPLE DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP) winning in all.
